Information circulates on the web that scholarship recipients in Mexico are in financial difficulty because they no longer receive financial aid from their scholarship.
Recall that since the arrival in 2013 of the first 102 scholar holders out of 300 planned https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-10089-haiti-education-the-first-103-scholars-in-mexico-speaks-spanish-now.html the scholarship program in Mexico had not encountered any problem. However, it is true that since December scholarship students have not received the financial assistance to meet their daily expenses, food, rent... putting many of them in great difficulty.
According to our information, this would be a delay in the renewal of the budget allocated to the Scholarship Program and consequently the provision of funds at the level of the Ministry concerned. Everything should return to normal in the next few days.
