15 hours uninterrupted performance, a real demonstration of the start of the creative machine jacmélienne, fifteen walking bands, 6 musical groups, hundreds of masquerades including many novelties and thousands of revelers at the rendezvous on Avenue Baranquilla, this 26th edition, will be inscribed in the annals of history in gold letters, according to the organizers. An edition which saw the participation of some officials of Parliament including the Senate Speaker Joseph Lambert and his first Secretary the Senator of South-East Dieupie Cherub, the Deputy of Jacmel Kétel Jn Philippe (OPL) and some diplomats accredited in Haiti, only have as representative of the central government, the Director of the Ministry of Interior Fédnel Monchéry. The Mayor of Jacmel thanks this senior executive of the Government and all those who once again came to the Carnival of Jacmel.
