Monday, as part of Citizenship Education, members of the Office of Citizen Protection (OPC) : Me Samuel François, Southeast Director of the OPC, Vana C. Jean Cheffe of Human Rights Protection Service and Manite Saincelaire, Head of Human Rights Promotion Department, went to the Institution Nossirel Lhérisson led by Pastor Dieussaint Marcelin for a sensitization session aiming to involve 32 students including 14 girls and 18 boys in Philo's class in the struggle for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights through Citizenship Education, according to the wish of the Protector Me Renan Hedouville.

During this session the points were discussed about the OPC of its fields of competence and the role of the Protector of the Citizen - the rights and duties of the citizen - Human rights, State obligations to the Citizen (respect, protect and implement) that ended with a Q & A session.

Following this activity, Pastor Marcelin congratulated the OPC for this initiative and at the same time asked Samuel François for further "talk" sessions.
