iciHaiti - Social : Training on engaged citizenship in communities
The organization Help, in collaboration with the Office of the Protection of the Citizen (OPC), organized before Christmas in Léogâne, a training session on human rights and engaged citizenship or the benefit of students, journalists, agents Haitian National Police (PNH) and nurses.

32 people, including 26 women and 6 men, took part in these three days of training animated by Me Jude Jean-Pierre, Me Étienne Macajoux, Léopold Chéry, Mr. Frantzy Philémon respectively Director of the promotion, Head of section at the training department and Assistant of the Head of section at the training department and Judge at the Court of Cassation.

It was for the organizers to sensitize people to the values of human rights: respect, responsibility, equality, inclusion, collaboration and solidarity "Raising awareness among this group of people who work in the system to all their rights and duties, and above all the behaviors to display in their community, is a prime concern for the OPC," said Me Etienne Macajoux.

After having passed a test at the end of this training, participants received their certificates from the managers of the OPC and HELP.
