iciHaiti - Fontamara : Start of the construction of the Street Maxime

The town hall of Port-au-Prince informs that the construction works of the Maxime street (Fontamara), a major road for motorists that must connect Fontamara 27 to Fontamara 43 began in the morning of Wednesday.

The work that is carried out with the support of the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF) must allow a better fluidity in the road traffic throughout the sector according to Ralph Youri Chévry, the Mayor of Port-au-Prince.

The workers on the site have already demolished fence walls and cleared the site of obstacles likely to hinder the progress of the work in order to carry out the earthworks. According to the plan of work, the works of the Maxime street must last approximately 2 months.
