iciHaiti - FLASH DR : Denationalized Haitians claim their rights as Dominican
On Saturday, more than a hundred Haitians denationalized under Judgment 168-13 of the Dominican Constitutional Court, which defines the conditions under which a foreigner can be a Dominican citizen, demonstrated in front of Independencia Park in Santo Domingo, to claim their rights as a Dominican.

Under the slogan "We are Dominicans and we have rights" our compatriots born on the Dominican soil of Haitian parents https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-9577-haiti-diplomacy-loss-of-dominican-nationality-haiti-expresses-its-disagreement.html were demonstrating peacefully in an atmosphere of traditional Haitian music...

Dr. Robert Cabral on behalf of the nationalists said that these Haitian citizens provoked the Dominicans saying "These Haitian groups are led by European NGOs and other international organizations and the Dominican government does nothing, does not act" saying that this demonstration had not been authorized by the Ministry of the Interior and the Police, demanding that these demonstrators be expelled because they are people in irregular migratory situation on the Dominican territory.
