iciHaiti - Politic : 50% reduction of staff in diplomatic missions

Out of more than 1,000 members employed in Haiti's embassies and consulates abroad, the contract of more than 500 contractuals , which expired on September 30, has not been renewed, confirmed Antonio Rodrigue, the Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasizing "We are studying their files to see who can be reappointed."
Let's recall that before the reduction of staff, Haiti in its 49 diplomatic missions had 1,003 members including 188 diplomats, 300 permanent employees and 515 contractuals.
