Haiti - Culture : Festival 4 Chemins 2017 11/11/2017 07:37:59
For its many workshops, shows and performances, the theater festival presented by the Association 4 Chemins will take us to various places as diverse as ines: Fokal, the French Institute of Haiti, Yanvalou, The Art Center, the Anne-Marie Morisset Center, La Pléiade, Katché Bar, Carré Zemès, the National Book Directorate, ONA, Radio Télévision Caraïbes, the Residence of the Ambassador of Switzerland, Villa Kalewès. "Diversifying the venues is very important for the festival to imprint in the city and reach as many people as possible," say the leaders. For this edition, the Festival 4 Chemins honors a troupe of the Haitian cultural community: FOUDIZÈ THEATER, organizer of the prestigious Intercultural Festival of Conte "KONT ANBA TONÈL" since 2009. "The original idea was to support and bring together well-known and emerging theater groups and people, and to bring together several generations of artists," recalls the festival's website, whose first edition took place in 2003.
