iciHaiti - REMINDER : A week of activities around the Haitian heritage

From October 23 to 27, 2017, the Knowledge and Freedom Foundation (FOKAL), the French Institute in Haiti (IFH) and the Alliances françaises in Haiti are joining forces to reflect on the heritage issues in Haiti. What is done the heritage today in Haiti ? How the history is embodied ? What challenges, what problems raise the safeguarding of Haiti's tangible and intangible heritage ?

This "Heritage in question" cycle aims to discuss the answers to be given to better protect and enhance our heritage and make it interact with history. During 5 days, Haitian and international experts will animate a series of conferences in Port-au-Prince, Jacmel, Les Cayes, Jérémie, Gonaïves and Cap-Haïtien.

A program of visits to monuments and heritage sites, documentary screenings, live shows and exhibitions will also be held throughout the week nationwide.
