iciHaiti - Prix Médicis 2017 : The Haitian writer Louis Philippe Dalembert finalist

"Avant que les ombres s’effacent"(Before the Shadows Fade) by the Haitian writer Louis Philippe Dalembert, published by Sabine Wespieser, which tells the story of the Jews who found refuge in Haiti before and during the Second World War, is one of the 14 titles selected by the Prix Medicis 2017 jury.
A second selection of the Prix Médicis will be announced on Tuesday 26th September and a third and final on Monday 30th October before the awards ceremony on Thursday 9th November.
