The Head of State took advantage of this visit to make an assessment of the equipment available at the plant and the dam level and also to inquire about the state of the electrical infrastructure in this plant which runs today at 80 % of its actual production capacity. Unlike the previous communication notes from the Office of the Presidency concerning the visits of the Head of State to energy production sites, the latter does not mention the promise of the Head of State to make electricity available 24/7 to the whole country in less than 22 months... but now speaks of a realization during his mandate "with the aim of making real his project of total electrification of the country during his mandate", a nuance that says a lot about the difficulties to fulfill his promise in a short time.
