iciHaiti - Diplomacy : Numerous visits by the Acting Permanent Representative of Haiti to the OAS

Ambassador Leon Charles, Permanent Representative of Haiti to the Organization of American States (OAS), made several courtesy visits to the offices of some senior officials of the OAS and Ambassadors of several delegations accredited to the Hemispheric Organization including : Nestor Mendes, Deputy Secretary General of the OAS, Kevin K. Sullivan, Permanent Representative of the Permanent Mission of the United States, Carmen Velasquez, Ambassador of Venezuela, Jennifer Loten, Ambassador of Canada and Jose Luiz Machado E Costa, Ambassador of Brazil.
These meetings/courtesy visits allowed the new interim ambassador to make an initial assessment of a number of political and thematic issues related to the interests of Haiti within the OAS.
