iciHaiti - Health : FLGL hosts a second mobile clinic
On June 3rd, the Louis Gérard Lamothe Foundation (FLGL), with the support of 5 Cuban specialists from the Cuban Medical Brigade and Zanmi Lasante; organized a second mobile clinic in Nan Thérèse, Panyol, Kenscoff. More than 200 residents of the surrounding neighborhoods had access to a medical consultation in primary health care with free medication. A delegation of 3 FLGL executives accompanied this mission.
In order for more people to benefit from it, mobile clinics are organized on a regular basis thanks to the partnership with the Cuban Medical Brigade and Zanmi Lasante. These partners provide donations of drugs and their human resources respectively. This clinic also treats many children aged 0-5 years with acute respiratory infections, intestinal parasitic infections and adults for gastric and circulatory pathologies.
