On Wednesday 24th during the work of the Mixed Bilateral Commission (CBM), the draft land transport protocol between the Republic of Haiti and the Dominican Republic was at the center of the discussions, this project aims to promote the harmonious development of land transport between the two countries.

Apart from this draft protocol, many other items on the agenda of the CBM were discussed such as :

Border crossing points;
Opening and closing times;
Documents required for crossing the border;
Insurance of motor vehicles;
Issues related to taxes, service taxes and crossing;
Customs regime for international land transport;
Transport of international goods;
Seasonal roads;
Road and citizen security;
Conflict resolution.
