The Commission in charge of the revision of the preliminary draft Organic Law of the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP) made an inventory of the file before beginning discussions with several senior officials of the Ministry and Maguy Durce, the Director General of the National Institute for Vocational Training (INFP). This meeting was aimed at facilitating the work of reorganizing the text in view of the needs of the system and the organizational audit of the Ministry carried out in March 2016.

Apart from the preliminary draft organic law, several bills were presented to the participants, including: the Bill on the Recognition and Validation of Prior Work Experience; The Draft Law on the Reorganization and Modernization of Technical and Vocational Training and the Draft Framework Law on the Orientation of the Haitian Education System.

At the request of the Office of Management and Human Resources (OMRH), of officials of the Ministry will participate on 10 and 11 May in a workshop on the draft organic laws of several ministries.
