iciHaiti - Panyol : Jojo Restaurant, from producer to consumer
One month after contacting the agricultural producers of Panyol, the Louis Gérard Lamothe Foundation (FLGL) found it useful to invite the owner and the Chef de cuisine of Jojo Restaurant to visit two production gardens in Panyol (Kenscoff). The delegation was able to explore the extent of the work carried out by the farmers in Panyol and especially appreciated the diversity of production in a context marked by great precariousness and difficult living conditions.

A hundred women farmers and a dozen farmers, warmly welcomed the delegation of Jojo restaurant. Let us recall that a month ago Mme Stéphanie Guernsey, the owner of this restaurant, had agreed to supply with Panyol's products exclusively, her Restaurant only cooks agricultural products of the soil in solidarity with the farmers, in order to consolidate the increase of the national production.

On the occasion of this visit, a partnership between Jojo Restaurant and the farmers of Panyol was born. Two representatives of the growers will ensure the link between Panyol and Jojo Restaurant as from the signing of the partnership: Mr Yonnel Aurélien of Opdes and Mrs Ciamise Innocent of "Fanm K ap plante".

Let's recall that the Lamothe Foundation has facilitated the link between farmers and two other providers: Giant Super Market and Kinam Hotel.
