As part of his campaign promises, President Jovenel Moïse announced on the sidelines of a cocktail given in honor of stylists and designers https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-20477-icihaiti-culture-martine-moise-honors-stylists-and-designers.html that the construction of an irrigation dam had begun in the Northeast. According to Moïse this dam will allow through pumps to irrigate more than 5,000 hectares of land specifying "The Ministry of Agriculture will provide the necessary frameworks so that we have a large water tank with a capacity of 25 million m3 [...]"
In addition, the Head of State announced that foreign experts would come to Haiti to work with the Haitians on the implementation of major agricultural projects.
