Wednesday, Aviol Fleurant, Minister of Planning and External Cooperation https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-20441-icihaiti-politics-reinstalling-of-the-minister-of-planning.html in the presence of various personalities of the country among others: the former Minister of MHAVE, Robert Labrousse, the former Director General Marc-Élie Nelson and the deputy Jean René Lochard, proceeded to the installation of Mrs. Stéphanie Auguste as Minister of the Haitians Living Abroad. She replaces the former Foreign Minister Pierrot Délienne who assumed this function on an interim basis.

In his remarks for the occasion, the Minister of Planning advised Mrs. Auguste to cultivate humility, the spirit of service and patriotism in her new role, in order to achieve better results. He urged her to create conditions that would allow Haitians from abroad to return to invest in the country.

The new Minister of MHAVE, announces that she will pay special attention to Haitian investors abroad, specifying that with the support of the Government, she intends to offer tax and customs advantages to the latter, to encourage them to come investing in the country.
