Wednesday, in the presence among others of the new Minister of the Environment, Pierre Simon Georges, of members of the legislative body, of Magaly Béatrix Camilien Bien-Aimé the Director General of the Minister of Planning and External Cooperation (MPCE), Jean Marie Altema, Director General of the National Council of Telecommunications (CONATEL), technical directors and coordinators of the MPCE Units, the new Minister of Justice Heidi Fortuné https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-20440-haiti-politics-installation-of-the-new-minister-of-justice.html proceeded to the reinstalling of Minister Aviol Fleurant to the head of the MPCE, which was already in charge of the post under the Privert / Jean-Charles government.

In his speech for the occasion, the Minister Fleurant reiterated his commitment to implement the vision of President Moïse and the General Policy of the Prime Minister Lafontant. He promised to relaunch major projects in the light of the Strategic Plan for the Development of Haiti (PSDH), which aims to make Haiti an emerging country by 2030.

In order to realize the Government's vision, the Minister Fleurant promised to quickly activate the leverage of the cooperation in order to find the necessary funds to finance the major projects included in the General Policy since Haiti, in its situation of cancellation of the debt is not eligible to obtain loans from international donors.

He also wished that natural hazards should be placed at the center of public policies, due to the vulnerability of Haiti.
