iciHaiti - Social : Pilot project of the Lakou of Colora

The non-profit Association "Promotion pour le Développement" (PROMODEV) recently carried out a field mission to Colora, a locality of the second rural section of Belladère (Central Plateau) in order to visit the pilot project "Lakou Colora" which is part of the major project "Lakou Haiti" conceived by the organization of the Haitian-American diaspora "The Haitian League".
Let's recall that this project aims to enhance the cultural heritage of lakou, which facilitates the bringing together of families in the same area, particularly in rural areas. It intends to make available to the inhabitants of lakou and its surroundings basic services such as health, education, agriculture and other various frameworks. In Lakou Colora there is a lake, a nutrition center, a nursery, a health center, etc...
