The Communication Unit of the State University of Haiti (UEH) informs the general public and the academic community in particular that UEH is organizing an International Colloquium from 22 to 24 February 2017 on the theme : "University Research in Haiti and Cooperation : Between constraints and opportunities".

The event will take place at the Maison de la recherche, 31 Rue Babiole, Port-au-Prince.

During this symposium, the speakers will discuss the challenges and opportunities related to the development of research in Haiti. It will also be an opportunity for the academic community and its guests to discuss the impact of Haiti's research, its dissemination and on the management system associated with these efforts. The research problem will be dealt from several angles, among others, financing, linguistic aspect, management, sustainability and environment, etc...

This scientific activity will bring together 6 panels of intervention with numerous personalities from the research sector of UEH, private universities of the place, public universities in the region, specialized research organizations, consulting firms, industry and business.
