"The Directorate General of the Executive Body of the National Telecommunications Council (CONATEL), pursuant to Decree of 10 June 1987 laying down the Council's powers in regard to planning, regulation and control of telecommunications services and according to the regulatory act Decision #OE-CNT-DEC20130004 dated 24 July 2013, published in Moniteur #144 of Wednesday 7 August 2013, reminds telephony operators of the obligation imposed on them, to ensure of the identification of any vendor or purchaser of pre-activated SIM cards.
This Directorate would be grateful if you would be diligent in complying with these legal provisions and would like to thank you for your frank cooperation.
