After his tour in the town halls of the metropolitan area https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-19987-haiti-politics-tour-of-the-president-elected-in-the-town-halls-of-the-metropolitan-area.html , the elected President Jovenel Moïse, undertook Friday a tour of a dozen media of the capital, to establish a climate of confidence with the leaders and the journalists, to 5 days of his swearing as 58th President of Haiti.
Jovenel Moses during his visits recalled the incessant struggles led by Haitian society to protect itself from the right to speak, one of the main corollaries of the rule of law. He took the opportunity to give the guarantee that his presidency will work to consolidate the gains of freedom of expression and the strengthening of republican institutions.
While thanking the journalists for their social commitment, he promised to remain with the press as part of his relentless struggle for the development of the country.
