Haiti - Economy : Launch of the online platform «BOOST»
Thursday 2 February at the Karibe Convention Center, Yves Romain Bastien, Minister of Economy and Finance (MEF) and World Bank Representative Mary Barton-Dock will officially launch the Open Budget Platform "BOOST ".

BOOST is the new open budget portal, developed in collaboration with the World Bank, marking a new step in the ongoing modernization of public finance management in Haiti. This tool will allow the persons concerned in their work (Court of Auditors, parliamentarians, students, researchers, civil society, media...) to access budgetary information in order to better inform the public

The Budget Portal contains comprehensive budgetary data on the government's operating and capital expenditures since the 2006-2007 fiscal year. This Portal will be accessible from the Ministry's website. It should be noted that currently 24 countries have a "BOOST" platform of the World Bank
