Haiti - Tourism : The Grenadiers U-20 travel in the past...
Friday, the players and the U-20 national team, accompanied by journalist Jeanty Thécieux as an improvised tourist guide, visited some of Cap-Haitien's historic sites. They began with Vertières where took place the last victorious battle of the soldiers of the native army against the army of Napoleon Bonaparte on 18 of November 1803. They posed for photographs with the statues of the first Grenadiers of the Nation.

They traveled by bus to the Boulevard du Cap, on the seafront, then to head towards the place of the street 18 and the adjacent historical buildings like the old house of King Henry 1st among others. This historic visit ended at the Grand Collège Notre Dame, which overlooks the city.
