Haiti - Security : BRI and SWAT in training to perfect 22/12/2016 09:45:07
The training to perfect was on the "Tactical orinciples in intervention", and given to the National Police School for the benefit of 17 agents of the Research and Intervention Brigade (BRI), of SWAT Team https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-17982-haiti-security-20-years-of-swat.html . This training session was facilitated by professionals from the Interministerial Center for Anti-Drug Training (CIFAD), the Departmental Directorate of Public Security (DDSP) of Martinique and the National Shooting Center of Montlignon (Val-d'Oise, France). Requiring substantial logistics given the technical nature of the subjects tackled, this training was aimed at presenting various aspects of police interventions, such as: armaments, ballistics, handcuffing or techniques of arrest in a vehicle and on foot. Alternating theoretical courses and simulations, it included various shooting exercises, including a shooting competition at the end of training.
