Haiti - Politics : Important meeting around the financing of the energy sector

Friday morning an important meeting was held between the Office of the National Authorizing Officer, the Regional Director of the European Investment Bank (EIB), the Delegation of the European Union in Haiti and the private energy sector in Haiti.
The meeting was part of a prospecting visit of Perez René, the EIB's Regional Director, to consider funding opportunities for some sectors, particularly energy in Haiti.
A follow-up meeting will be held to continue working to realize this important investment project for the development of Haiti.
