iciHaiti - Politic : Installation of the former colonel Antoine Atouriste

Wednesday, Prime Minister, Enex Jean-Charles proceeded with the installation of former Colonel Antoine Atouriste, former Director General of the Unit for Combating Corruption (ULCC) recently appointed https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-18415-haiti-politic-another-appointment.html as the new Coordinator of the National Commission for the Fight against Drugs (CONALD).
In his speech the Head of Government stressed that he expected of new Coordinator, of strategies to eliminate the scourge of drugs in Haitian territory, which if not effectively controlled can gangrene our society and be also a health for for health, for peace and public security. He recommended Antoine Atouriste to use all the means at its disposal to strictly enforce Haitian law, including the law of August 7, 2001 on the Prevention and Repression of Drugs and the Law of 13 November 2013 penalizing Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing.
