iciHaiti - Invitation : First edition of the «Festival Nègès Mawon»
From 18 to 24 July 2016, the organization "Nègès Mawon" launches the first edition of its feminist cultural festival "Festival Nègès Mawon" in Port-au-Prince oon the theme "Feminis ? Poukisa ?". At the program : lectures, talks, performances, exhibitions, workshops, movies, artistic works...

Nègès Mawon is a young feminist organization working in the fields of education, training and culture. The idea of this festival responds to the need to look with a feminist perspective, the cultural and artistic production, but also to experience a new way to understand and renew the challenges of feminist activism using art in general, to try to revitalize the Haitian feminist movement, give it a new leadership and a new image, to involve new actors.
