iciHaiti - Environment : Towards a national policy for struggle against climate change

Simon Dieuseul Desras, the Minister of the Environment, with support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP-Haiti), launched on July 6, the process of drafting of the National Policy against climate change (PNCC).
With this public policy, the Haitian State sending a strong, positive signal that inaction against this threat is not an option.
The Minister Desras acknowledged that climate change was "a hard reality face to which Haiti will have to be smart and act fast."
