iciHaiti - Politic : The passport application increased 200% over one year

François Anick Joseph, Minister of Interior and Territorial Communities, indicated that to cope with the explosion of the passport application, more than 200% in one year (17,000 in May 2016 to 35,000 in May 2016), passport production was increased from 800 to more than 1,500 per day.
However, the Minister Joseph reported that the 6 weeks delay for issuing a passport remained unchanged, ensuring the public that the immigration authorities will respect the deadlines for issuing passports to applicants.
