From Tuesday 14th to Friday, June 17, 2016, Quisqueya University (uniQ) through the Research Center in Management and Economics of Development (CREGED) is organizing an international colloquium on the theme "Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Development".

This colloquium which takes place at the Marriott Hotel and the University Campus, brings together researchers from several continents, students and practitioners and also politicians and leaders of the fields concerned, to discuss the various forms of innovation and entrepreneurial initiatives and their implications in economic development.

In a multidisciplinary dialogue (economics, management, engineering, etc...), different approaches will be confronted, from contributions of empirical order, theoretical or methodological, not to mention the case studies and testimonies of innovators and entrepreneurs. The analyses regarding the forms of innovation, the areas to undertake and types of entrepreneurial actors will be discussed in the context of quantitative and qualitative studies in developing countries as developed countries.

Note that this colloquium is realized within the framework of the research project entitled "Young Haitian Associate Team at the International" (JEHAI) which is funded by the Research Institute for Development (IRD - France). It involves CREGED of Quisqueya University on the Haitian side and the Joint Research Unit ART-Dev of the University of Montpellier on the French side.
