Saturday at the Stade Sylvio Cator,as part of the CONCACAF Women's Football Day 2016 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-17490-haiti-sports-d-2-concacaf-women-s-day-2016.html Abel Nazaire, the Minister of Youth and Sports, addressed the young footballers who took part in this event organized by the Women's Football Committee of the Haitian Football Federation (FHF) and chaired by Monique André, member of the Group leadership of women's football in CONCACAF.

In his remarks for the occasion, the Minister Nazaire considered it important to invite young people to be interested in sport and to their studies while cultivating the determination and discipline in order to achieve good performance. Recalling the value of Haitian women's football in the region, he stressed the importance that these players represent for the sector in Haiti.

The Minister promised to work with the FHF to identify the needs of athletes and achieve the best results despite the low budget allocated to the sector. Calling again the private sector to invest in this sport and support the State in its development efforts, of integration and insertion of Haitian youth.

Dozens of young girls footballers of the academy "Camp Nous" took part in learning sessions and showed their talent during this CONCACAF Day organized for the promotion and development of women's football in Haiti.
