iciHaiti - Education : Meeting in Paris between Nesmy Manigat and Michaëlle Jean

Friday as part of intercessory meeting of the Executive Board of Unesco, in Paris Nesmy Manigat, the outgoing Minister of National Education, who represented Haiti in the Council, had a working meeting with Michaëlle Jean, the Secretary General of the International Organisation of the Francophonie (OIF), around the educations records and the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-16651-haiti-education-nesmy-manigat-appointed-president-of-a-committee-of-global-partnership-for-education.html
Nesmy Manigat and Michaëlle Jean have heard to promote new partnerships in education through their respective institutions and foster a common front to advance education both in Haiti andthroughout the world. There was also discussion on of innovative financing mechanisms to stimulate research actions between the OIF and the GPE to the benefit of developing countries like Haiti.
