iciHaiti - Science : Gala evening in the presence of President a.i. Jocelerme Privert
Friday, March 11 at the Karibe Hotel in Petionville, the Doctoral College of Haiti (CDH) supported by University Agency of La Francophonie (AUF), is organizing a Gala evening in the presence of President a.i. Jocelerme Privert.

This evening will be an opportunity for the Rector Jean Vernet Henry, President of the Board of Directors of the CDH and Professor Laënnec Hurbon, President of Scientific Council of the Doctoral College, to hand, after an external evaluation and on the basis of scientific development plan, a certificate attesting the capacity of these laboratories to supervise doctoral students and conduct high quality research.

List of laboratories :

- The "Groupe de Recherche en Économie du Développement" (GREDE) of the University Quisqueya ;
- The « LAngages DIscours REprésentations » (LADIREP) of the State University of Haiti (UEH) ;
- The « Laboratoire de qualité de l'eau et de l'environnement » (LAQUE) of the University Quisqueya ;
- The "Laboratoire de recherche scientifique en Simulation, Télécommunication et Réalité virtuelle" (SITERE) of the Higher School of Infotronique of Haiti.

Aware of the place of innovation and research in the development process, the AUF supports since 2011 the Doctoral College of Haiti (CDH) which federates today: State University in Haiti (UEH) , Quisqueya University (uniQ) and the Higher School of Infotronique of Haiti (ESIH) in order to structure and strengthen research in Haiti.

The CDH will take the opportunity to present its achievements, its potential impact on social and economic development of the country and the Caribbean and to publicize the direction and future actions of its programming.
