iciHaiti - Education : Laying the foundation stone of the «City of the Knowledge»
Wednesday in Carrefour des Pères, (3rd communal section of Milot, Génipailler) Ambassador of Canada accredited to Haiti, Paula Caldwell St-Onge accompanied by the research professor Samuel Pierre, initiator of the Innovation Pole of the Great North (PIGraN), and President of GRAHN World participated in the ceremony of laying the first stone of PiGran project known as "City of the Knowledge".

This ambitious project, that will costs 50 million US dollars in cash and 20 million in kind, which will be implemented over 10 years, will cover an area of 28 hectares and will include more than a dozen buildings covering four areas: academic, school, services and agriculture For more information : www.pigran.org/index.php/a-propos/cite-du-savoir (in french)

Note that as part of PIGraN project, the Reflection and Action Group for a New Haiti (GRAHN), through its Canadian branch, GRAHN- Canada, has partnered with the Quebec-Haiti Foundation for universal education quality (QHASUQ) in the elaboration of the Cité du Savoir project, which includes four areas with an integrated school complex.
