In a note, the Ministers : Jude Hervé Day (Commerce and Industry), Dominique Pierre (Environnement) et Pierre-Richard Casimir (Justice and Public Safety), said they are "alarmed by the accelerated and uncontrolled proliferation of the number of Bottling Centers and Micro Centers of distribution of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), commonly referred to as 'Propane' without respect for standards governing this sector."

They remind the general public and LPG distributors in particular, that the setting operation of these centers, is pre-conditioned by a letter of no objection from the Ministry of the Environment; a certificate from the Fire Department and a permit from the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

In this context, these ministries "in order to protect the population and environment, inviting interested parties to take all necessary steps to comply with the requirements governing the matter." Warning that these three ministries reserve the right to conduct inspections within the framework of respect for this and to apply the law accordingly.
