iciHaiti - Education : UNNOH announces 2 days of strike by teachers

Wednesday at a press conference, Josué Mérilien, Coordinator of the National Union of Haitians Normaliens (UNNOH) announced that teachers of high schools and public schools will be on strike across the country, on Thursday 14 and Friday, January 15 2016, to require the State, satisfaction of their claims, in particular according to UNNOH: full payment of salary arrears, the appointment of teachers and a salary adjustment promised but never paid.
