Tuesday, the Binational Economic Council Quisqueya inaugurated two new industrial buildings in the Industrial Park Development Company (CODEVI), that will allow to create at term nearly 3,000 new jobs in addition of 7,000 Haitian employees already working in the free zone, which covers more than 600,000 m2.

The "Compagnie de Développement Industriel S.A." (CODEVI), is located in the free zone of Ouanaminthe, north-east of Haiti and manufactures clothing for export include: jeans, uniforms and knits. The CODAVI run by the Dominican group "M", brings a major contribution to economic and social development of the North-East of Haiti with more than 7,000 Haitian employees.
