iciHaiti - Culture : The Minister of Culture arrived in Paris...

After the election of Haiti, to the the Executive Board of UNESCO on 11 November https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-15743-icihaiti-politic-haiti-elected-member-of-the-unesco-executive-board.html Dithny Joan Raton, the Minister of Culture, arrived Friday, November 13, in the French capital, joining the Haitian delegation, to extend the representativeness of Haiti, in meetings and forums of the 38th session of the General Conference of the UN organization. She will also meet with senior officials from UNESCO and will participate in the 20th General Assembly of States Parties to the World Heritage Committee.
Note that because of the attacks that occurred in Paris on Friday 13, we do not yet know if the agenda of the 38th session of the General Conference will be modified or to what extent. Note that the UNESCO office is located outside the areas where occur deadly attacks.
