iciHaiti - Tourism : Opening of the 6th Fair binational ecotourism 07/11/2015 09:37:04
"Preserving the water catchment area of Artibonite and move forward in the construction of ecotourism binational roads" is the theme chosen for this new edition. Contribute to the development of the department of Centre of Haiti and of the province of Elías Piña, from promoting ecotourism activities, highlight the one hand their natural wealth and cultural heritage and strengthening relations between two States at the border, are the two main objectives of this 6th Fair binational. The Ministries of Tourism, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin of Haiti and Francisco Javier Fernandez of the Dominican Republic and the Ministers of Environment of both countries, accompanied by their delegation, are expected for the inaugural afternoon of this Fair. In addition to Haiti's participation in large scientific program of the activity, artists among the most important and influential of Haitian culture in the field of plastic arts, painting, crafts, music, dance but also culinary art, will participate in the Fair.
