iciHaiti - Justice : Haiti at the 5th Congress of National Commissions of Human Rights (Dakar) 30/10/2015 11:07:10
This two-day conference, organized every two years, took place this year on the theme "National Institutions of Human Rights and the monitoring of places of deprivation of liberty, standards, best practices and challenges." The Congress hosted a hundred delegates from 21 countries under the auspices of the International Organization of the Francophonie (OIF), the Committee of the Senegal Human Rights, the Association for the Prevention of Torture, the high Commissioner for Human Rights of the United Nations and the Commission on Human Rights of Morocco. Recall that the Francophone Association of National Committees of Human Rights, created in May 2002, includes the Commissions, Councils and National Committees established by the States part of the Francophonie, to ensure Promotion and Protection of Human Rights.
