iciHaiti - Montreal : Working session between JCCH and the Consulate General of Haiti
Wednesday a working session was held at the Consulate General of Haiti in Montreal between a delegation from the Haitian Junior Chamber of Commerce (JCCH) chaired by Ms. Nedgy Augustin and several members of Consulate whose, the Consul Kurdy Lareche.

On the agenda of this meeting, was discussed the fate of Haitian youth living in Montreal into delinquency and drugs including many of them languishing in prison, left to themselves. The idea of creating a forum to discuss and resolve the problems of the Haitian community was discussed and accepted by the participants. This Forum would consist of organisms, institutions and community leaders who have already proven in the field.

Furthermore, the organization in the new fiscal year (2015-2016) of two trade missions was on the agenda. It was proposed to invite previously, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Haiti and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Haitiano-Canadian to come to meet potential investors on one hand and subsequently organizes a trade mission to Port-au-Prince and large cities.

Finally, it was discussed the need for talks with the Government of Quebec, to encourage the installation of an office or a commercial delegation in Port-au-Prince, to facilitate exchanges between Haiti and Quebec.
