iciHaiti - Economy : DR would have filed a complaint to WTO against Haiti
Friday, Chancellor Andrés Navarro said that the Dominican Republic was awaiting the next meeting of the World Trade Organization, which must rule on the complaint against Haiti, which has hindered the import of 23 Dominican products by land, that the Dominican Government considers as a flagrant violation of bilateral agreements.

When asked whether there is a date for the WTO to respond to the complaint, he indicated that it was "a multilateral organization that has no specific deadline [...] they take their time because remember, when there is a situation of bilateral conflict, there are a lot consequences. For this reason, they will not rush the procedures and we must await the conclusion of the study of our complaint."
