iciHaiti - Education : Relaunch and changes of the program «Kore Etidyan»

The program "Kore etidyan" interrupted for some time, will resume service as of October 2015, announced Ronsard Saint-Cyr, General Director of the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES).
However, this program, which has benefited more than 31,000 students last year, according to FAES database, will undergo some changes for the academic year 2015-2016, revealed the Director Saint-Cyr among others: students will no longer have to go to transfer houses to receive their financial aid. They will have from this October, a debit card. Also new selection criterias come into force, which will take into account the age and performance. Thus, all students aged over 30 years will not be eligible for "Kore etidyan", also to become a beneficiary of the program, the student will have to get a score above the average required by its faculty.
