iciHaiti - FLASH : Conference «Heritage of Haiti between the tangible and the intangible...»
This Wednesday, September 23 at 7:00 pm the historian and sociologist Samuel Regulus will give a conference to the French Institute in Haiti - 99 Avenue Lamartiniere, Port-au-Prince entitled "Heritage of Haiti between the tangible and the intangible : Challenges of the patrimonialisation".

What "makes heritage" today in Haiti ? How embodies cultural diversity ? What challenges, what issues raises the safeguarding of Haitian tangible heritage and intangible ? What are the implications for the protection, conservation, restoration ? will be some of the topics discussed.

Samuel Regulus in brief :
After studying history, sociology and ethnology between Quebec and Port-au-Prince, Samuel Régulus now teaches at UEH, where he directs the Master History, Memory and Heritage. Collaborator of the Haitian National Commission for Cooperation with UNESCO, its research themes stood at the crossroads of political, religious and cultural heritage. He is the author of numerous publications.
