iciHaïti - Security : The Jamaican Police will strengthen its cooperation with Haiti
As part of the "Get the Guns" Campaign, the Jamaican Police "Jamaica Constabulary Force" (JCF) will strengthen its collaboration with the National Police of Haiti (PNH) in order to disrupt and shrink the illicit drugs for guns trade between the two countries.

"Arrangements are in place, as we speak, to dispatch police officers to Haiti to consult with the Haitian police," declared Fridat, Police Commissioner, Dr. Carl Williams at the Road headquarters in St. Andrew at the official launch of the campaign "Get the Guns".

"The purpose of the campaign is to significantly reduce the number of illegal guns and ammunition that are used by criminals to wreak havoc in our society," specified Commissioner Williams.
