iciHaiti - Education : 17 scholars students in Masters, back home

17 young scholars in Master of the Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENS) returned home after 2 years of successful studies in Martinique, to the University of Antilles Guyane (Pointe-à-Pitre) to serve their country.

Accompanied by Bérard Cénatus, the Academic Director of ENS, they met Nesmy Manigat, the Minister of National Education to thank the Government of Haiti, for funding their studies.

"I believe you are resources to absolutely put at the service of the country. The country invested in you. Now it's your turn to invest your knowledge and expertise in the country," declared Minister Manigat, who gave them the assurance that the Ministry is open to their integration into the education system, based on need and availability of funds.

To this end he asked them to submit their applications to the Human Resources Directorate of the Ministry. The young scholars were very enthusiastic and assured that they were ready to put their skills to the service of Haiti.
