iciHaiti - Agriculture : Launching of the project «Chanje lavi plantè»
Friday, in the Rural Centres for Sustainable Development (CRDD) in Kenscoff and Duvier, the US Agency for International Development (USAID) in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture, proceeded to the launch of the Project Feed the Future Haiti "Chanje lavi plantè".

Lasting 3 year, this project funded up to 25 million US dollars from USAID, which seeks to, inter alia, enhance agricultural production, and contribute to improving socio-economic conditions of farmers, will be implemented including : on the plaine du Cul-de-Sac, in the communes of Kenscoff, Cité Soleil, Pétion-Ville, Croix-des-Bouquets, Ganthier and Thomazeau.

It also concerns the corridor of Matheux including the communes of Cabaret, Arcahaie, Saint-Marc and Mirebalais and the communes of Saut d'Eau, for the production and export of mangoes. Nearly 60,000 families will benefit from the benefits of this project.
