The new and impressive 3 levels building of 4,262m2, housing the Court of Cassation, inaugurated Tuesday by President Michel Martelly accompanied by MA Ying-Jeou, the President of the Republic of China (Taiwan) See in pictures : https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-14521-haiti-reconstruction-inauguration-of-the-court-of-cassation.html ; erected near the National Palace and the statue of the Nègre Marron, of Ministry of Interior and Territorial Communities and the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MCI) and the Palace of Finance, the Palace of the Court Cassation includes among others the following facilities :
First level :
- A parking lot for about 50 vehicles ;
- An access ramp for the disabled ;
- Two elevators ;
Second level :
- A waiting room of 72 m2 ;
- Eight office spaces with an area of 22.41 m2 each and two other office areas of 14.03 m2 each reserved for judges ;
- An office space of 28 m2 for the Government Commissioner of Port-au-Prince ;
- Two hearing rooms of about 195 m2 each ;
- A workspace of 46 m2 ;
- An infirmary.
Third level :
- An office of 54 m2 reserved for the President of the Court of Cassation ;
- A conference room of 63 m2 ;
- A multifunctional space of 208 m2 for administration.
